The Archbishop of Canterbury said that King Henry VIII might be in hell.
Given that the monarch in question sent his country unto schism by ushering the Protestant Reformation into England over the protests of his subjects (a great many of whom his majesty executed), I'd say that's not a bad bet to take.
“If Henry VIII is saved – an open question, perhaps – it will be at the prayers of [Catholic martyr] John Houghton," said the Archbishop, Dr. Rowan Williams.

Amazing words, Sean! When is Williams coming into the Church? Surely with words such as the ones you've quoted here there is no place left for him in Henry's crumbling construction. All ye holy English martyrs, pray for us! (And happy feast day, Sean. Veni Sancte Spiritus.)
Let's hope that Rowan Williams converts mightily before coming into the Church, Kindred. He has been an atrocious Anglican prelate and an ardent defender of homosexuality. His actions on many occasions have raised the question of his own sexual orientation. We hope that he is converted, of course, but that he does not enter the Church only to add to the chaos!
