I've been planning a Memorial Day weekend trip to Mexico City to visit Our Lady of Guadalupe.
That trip is now put in doubt by the recent swine flu business. Another time, perhaps.

Yes, this is probably notthe best time to go to Mexico. But isn't the image the most beautiful picture of Our Lady? Thank you for posting it.
You might consider that pilgrimage to Ecuador instead, Sean. Fr. Kimball is in his element when it comes to Garcia Moreno and Our Lady of Quito! You won't regret making the trip.
Gosh! I am just hoping to be able to go across at Coumbus, NM into Palomas, Chihuahua to ge a couple of pair of less expensive glasses next week.
When I called my brother to see if I would be able to go across, he asked me if I was afraid of the flu or of getting shot. It is always something. ;)
