About twenty years ago, when I was living in Atlanta, I spent a couple of months traveling frequently to Seattle for a project. I got to know a colleague in our Seattle office named Lydia.
After we had worked together for several weeks, we discovered that we had started with the company on exactly the same day a couple of years earlier.
One day I said, “You know, Lydia, I’m East Coast and you’re West Coast. I’m three hours ahead of you. Technically, I have seniority.”
She smiled.
“True that.”
